Limitations of the Dante Managed API

As of DDM1.5:

• The API is not compatible with devices running in ‘legacy mode’ in DDM. This affects devices running Dante Versions prior to 4.0. Our analysis shows that the vast majority of Dante devices have Dante Version 4.0 or later available; please use Dante Updater or consult your device manufacturer for firmware upgrades.

• The API does not yet recognize Virtual Devices used in Shared Audio Groups

• The API is not yet able to work with channel subscriptions based on AES67 flows (including SMPTE2110); only native Dante flows are supported at this time.
